about
I was sitting in the Dublin airport for four hours until I would make it to Amsterdam. Before the trip had even really started, I had made this track. In all the subsequent cities and points of interest I made other things on my iPad that were named after the places I was visiting: Amsterdam (titled as "Hostel"), Antwerp (absent from the list), Leamington Spa, Chapel Porth, and Truro. Most of them were sound doodles. They were loops. Most all of them suck, and even the one that I thought could have made an okay B-Side to Dublin (Hostel) didn't seem to impress anyone... Maybe I found Dublin to have so much mystery that I could describe in a musical form because I didn't ever leave the airport. I wrote about it in my travel journal, and then pressed on. One day, Dublin, I'm going to find out what you're really like.
